Michael Butera is a first year Philosophy M.A. student
who will be continuing on to the ASPECT Ph.D. at Virginia
Tech. He received a B.S. with majors in Philosophy,
Sociology, and Music Production from Belmont University
in Nashville, TN.
His main interest
is the impact of new communicative technologies on existential
and social identities, as well as the accompanying alteration
of perceived reality. After accomplishing his degrees,
he plans on teaching interdisciplinary undergraduate
courses and living the good life.
